Refreshing a brand is like giving it a new outfit – it’s exciting, but it takes careful planning to make sure it fits just right. When OMO decided it was time for a makeover by changing the packaging, they didn’t just want a fresh look. They wanted to shake things UP and make OMO more appealing to their target.
The challenge was clear: Turning OMO from an old school brand to a modern expert brand that I can trust my clothes and my washing machine with. OMO needed a modern twist that would catch people’s attention without falling in the creative loop of old laundry ads that you see everywhere. So, we came up with something special – a story about the love we all have for our clothes.
And that’s when our creative idea saw the day: With OMO, enjoy a life full of color!

Worldwide, Omo has always been a brand encouraging the good in the dirt, so our creative approach needed to capture it and translate it regionally.
We all know the feeling of slipping into a favorite outfit and feeling the confidence grow. But somewhere along the line, we started worrying about washing our clothes. What if the colors faded? What if they lost their sparkle? What if my favorite piece of clothing gets damaged? We wanted to help people rediscover their love for vibrant clothes and live life to the fullest.
So we asked ourselves as creatives, but also, as humans with beliefs and concerns. What do consumers want from a brand like OMO?
A clear and single-minded message that will make them feel completely confident while wearing their favorite clothes, knowing that OMO is there to back them up!

It all started with a film that captured the attention of people across borders. It wasn’t just about laundry; it was about freedom. The freedom to live a life full of color! We showed people wearing their favorite colors without fear of staining them. And at the heart of it all was OMO, protecting their clothes and their their freedom to shine
Expanding the campaign to new countries was a big challenge for us as an agency. It meant taking our message to even more people and making sure it resonated with them. The campaign then saw the day in Morocco, Algeria, Lebanon, and other countries following very soon!
Our campaign went beyond that, our OOH billboards were impossible to miss. We played with angles and visuals to create something truly unique that would catch people’s eyes and scream modernity and expertise. And it worked! OMO is now perceived as the modern brand whose expertise you can trust all over the countries where it has been on air.
